ZNAK Foundation was founded by the ZNAK Publishing Institute as an instrument for international co-operation in the development of the culture of peace and tolerance. Its aim is to promote the Christian humanism and in particular to:

-initiate and support work with that respect,

-care for cultural heritage sites and the natural environment,

-promote the attitudes of tolerance, authentic dialogue and co-operation between different religions and nations for their mutual enrichment and the achievement of shared values,

-promote and broaden the knowledge of the cultures of different nations and Poland's neighbours in particular,

-further the cause of respect towards the rights of people and cultures to free development.

The Foundation has been in action since 1993, publishing the books and running the on-line projects, organising the symposia, opinion surveys and competitions.
